PLUBING & HEATING

Proline Plumbing & Heating is owned and operated by Michael and Lilliana DeAlmeida, they are based in New Bedford and service the Southcoast of MA. Michael is a Master Plumber and his business encompasses: plumbing, heating, drains, water heaters, boilers and gas lines for residential properties, including older homes, new construction, and remodeling.

After high school Michael serendipitously began working for a local plumber and quickly realized he really enjoyed the profession. While he worked he attended school and earned his Master Plumbers License in 1993. In 1999, after nine years of working for someone else, Michael and his new bride Liliana decided to take their savings, $500, and begin their own business. Their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to customer service quickly gained them new clients and they have never looked back.

  • Continuing education is extremely important.  Michael is not the only one that is a Master Plumber, Mark also has his license and Eddie is half way through the examination process.
  • The Proline team are all extremely professional. There isn’t anyone with a criminal record, they are polite, family orientated and you will feel safe allowing them into your home or property.

When asked what he enjoys most about his business Michael did not hesitate for a moment before answering, “helping people.”  When someone calls us, there is typically an urgent or serious need.  We all handle pressure calmly, we are quick to respond and we pride ourselves on our efficiency.  Knowing that you have made someone happy or provided relief is a wonderful reward, it makes us very happy.

Michael does not have plans of growing his business or hiring new employees. He has resisted growth, as that would take him out of the field and into an office – away from the work he loves and is very good at executing. Service is the ultimate goal, so continuing to learn what is new in the industry: eco friendly products, energy saving opportunities and how to best service people with their plumbing and heating is what he loves and wants to continue to do with Proline.
